We operate both traditional sales and two types of auction sale:

Option 1 - Timed Online Auction
On the fall of the hammer contracts are deemed to be exchanged and the successful buyer must immediately pay a 10% deposit (subject to a minimum of £4,200). Completion must occur in 28 days. Legal Packs are available to view prior to bidding and it is recommended that potential buyers view these and consult a legal representative prior to bidding taking particular notice of any Special Conditions of sale.
Option 2 - Deadline Sale
On the fall of the hammer the buyer must place a £4,200 non-refundable deposit with A&G Limited, exchange of contracts must occur in 28 days of the buyers solicitor receiving the contract pack and completion in a further 28 days.

Our 20,000 sq/ft purpose-built premises, located just off the A1 in Newcastle, offers ample free parking and provides state-of-the-art buying and selling facilities for our valued clients.

Anderson & Garland already hold up to 60 auctions a year in over 20 specialist departments. Throughout the last 180 years they have sold many very special items and unique collections and have gained a vast knowledge of the auction market.

We offer live in-house and on-line bidding, telephone and proxy bidding services on all sales.

Whilst retaining a strong heritage and proud history, Anderson & Garland has developed and diversified many times over the years. With the appointment of Gareth Jones to head up A&G Land and Property, they are delighted to re-instate a dedicated focus back to a field in which they are akin and have a rooted background.
